Full custom builds and the 2027 models are built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Upgrades and installs are done on Sprinters, Ford Transits and Ram ProMasters, the three most popular platforms for van conversions.

Either works. Beachside Custom Vans is a licensed auto dealer and can help source the right vehicle for your build through its dealership relationships. You are also welcome to bring a van you already own.

Custom builds start at $250,000 and go up depending on the platform, layout and finishes you choose. Every build starts with a detailed budget so there are no surprises. The 2027 models start at $195,000 for the Oasis and Gamer Van and $135,000 for the Drifter.

Model vans take 6 to 10 weeks to build, with weekly updates along the way.

If it is a good fit, a $5,000 nonrefundable deposit starts the design phase: 2D floor plans, then a 3D model in Fusion 360. After design approval, the build budget is finalized and your build slot is scheduled.

Full builds are turnkey for comfortable off-grid living: a sleeping area, a galley with sink and cooktop, a refrigerator, an indoor shower, a toilet, an off-grid lithium electrical system, solar, shore power, air conditioning, a diesel heater, a hot water heater, a MaxxAir fan and custom cabinetry. Every build is different, and you choose the options that fit how you travel.

The shop is at 1545 Main St #100 in Atlantic Beach, Jacksonville, Florida, 32233. It is open Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and shop visits are welcome by appointment.

Every model van, including the Oasis, Drifter and Gamer Van and the 2026 Drifters for sale, carries a 2-year builder warranty, and every custom build a 1-year builder warranty, on craftsmanship and the systems Beachside installs. Manufacturer warranties on appliances and electrical components are handled through those brands. Ask about warranty terms on single installs when you get your quote.

Yes. The 2027 lineup is three semi-custom models on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter AWD: the Oasis and Gamer Van (170 in wheelbase, from $195,000) and the Drifter (144 in wheelbase, from $135,000). Each has a proven layout that is mostly fixed, with options for small changes, and you have complete design control over the finishes, interior systems and exterior products.

Only the Oasis. The Drifter has an outdoor shower at the rear door and a cassette toilet, and the Gamer Van has a dry-flush toilet inside and a hot-water shower at the rear.

The Drifter. At about 19 feet on a 144-inch wheelbase, it is the shortest van in the lineup, and its fixed bed stays made.

Yes, at the Atlantic Beach shop by appointment. Completed vans for sale can be viewed the same way, and each model page has a video walkthrough where one is available.

Yes. The shop handles single installs and full systems on Sprinters, Transits and ProMasters: roof fans, windows, air conditioning, diesel heat, lithium electrical, solar, plumbing, racks, bumpers, suspension and more.

Yes. Beachside vans are financed with RV loans through IntoRV, with terms from 6 to 20 years.

For a financed build, a minimum of 10% down is due after the design phase. Your $5,000 nonrefundable build deposit is credited toward that 10%.

Buyers have recently been seeing rates between 7.5% and 9%. Your rate depends on your credit, loan amount and term, and IntoRV gives you a personalized quote.

No. IntoRV starts with a soft credit pull, which does not affect your credit score.

No. The $5,000 deposit that reserves a new build is nonrefundable.

After the design phase, the van and materials cost is due. Labor is then billed every two weeks at the actual labor cost for that period until you pick up your van, and the $5,000 deposit comes off your final invoice.

No. Vans for sale are already built. You buy them at the agreed sales price, financed through IntoRV (subject to credit approval) or without financing.

Every model van includes a 2-year builder warranty on craftsmanship and installed systems, and individual components carry their own manufacturer warranties. If you are out of state, the van can be delivered to you, with delivery quoted by distance.
