Your layout, built from scratch
Custom is where Beachside started, and the shop still builds them. When the 2027 lineup doesn't check every box, a custom build lets you design a van that is entirely yours: the floor plan, the finishes and every system.
The shop's 2027 build slots go to the Oasis, Drifter and Gamer Van, so custom builds are now booking for 2028, in limited numbers to keep the attention each one deserves. Custom builds start at $250,000 and go up with the platform, layout and finishes you choose, and every one begins with a detailed budget.
How a custom build works
From the first call to the day you drive away.
Consultation
Tell the team how you want to live on the road. Solo or family, full-time or weekends: needs, budget and must-haves come first, to make sure a custom build is the right fit.
Design and planning
Once the $5,000 nonrefundable deposit is received, design begins with 2D floor plans, then a full 3D model in Fusion 360 for your approval. Every cabinet and panel is designed before a single piece is cut.
Budget and finishes
A detailed build budget lists options for every component. You pick the products, materials and finishes that fit your needs and style.
Build phase
12 to 16 weeks of CNC-precision cabinetry and professional electrical, plumbing and finishing, all in-house at the Atlantic Beach shop, with updates along the way.
Walkthrough and delivery
Walk through the completed van with the team. Every system and feature is shown to you so you are road-ready before you drive off.
Built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter

Sprinter 144
Compact and capable, for solo travelers and couples who want agility without giving up comfort.
Sprinter 170
The most popular wheelbase, with room for a full kitchen, a bathroom and a fixed bed. The sweet spot for full-time living.
Sprinter 170 Extended
Maximum space for families and those who want it all, with extra length for gear storage or a bigger living area.
