What Is the Oasis 2.0?
At Beachside Custom Vans, we’ve built dozens of custom camper vans over the past five years. Every build teaches us something — what works in the real world, what clients love most, and where we can push the boundaries of van life comfort. The Oasis 2.0 is the culmination of all those lessons. It’s our flagship luxury adventure van, built on a 2025 Mercedes Sprinter 170 AWD platform, and it represents the absolute best of what our Atlantic Beach shop can produce.

The Platform: 2025 Mercedes Sprinter 170 AWD
We chose the 2025 Sprinter 170 wheelbase with factory all-wheel drive for a reason. The 170″ wheelbase gives you a true full-size living space without being unwieldy on the road, and Mercedes’ AWD system provides genuine off-pavement capability — perfect for accessing remote campsites, forest roads, and beach access points that two-wheel-drive vans simply can’t reach.
The Sprinter platform is the gold standard for professional van conversions. Its high roof provides stand-up interior height, the turbo-diesel engine delivers excellent highway fuel economy, and Mercedes’ build quality means a chassis that will last hundreds of thousands of miles. Power System: 600Ah Victron Electrical
The electrical system is the heart of any off-grid van, and the Oasis 2.0 has one of the most robust setups we’ve ever installed. We went all-in with Victron Energy components — the industry standard for reliability and performance.
- 3x 200Ah 12V lithium batteries (600Ah total) — massive energy storage for days of off-grid use
- 3000W inverter/charger — run a microwave, air conditioner, induction cooktop, and more simultaneously
- 50A DC-DC charger — rapid charging from the alternator while driving
- 400W rooftop solar — passive charging keeps the batteries topped off at camp
- 30A shore power inlet — plug in at RV parks or your garage
- Victron Cerbo GX touch-screen monitor — real-time monitoring of every electrical parameter

Kitchen: Cook Real Meals on the Road
One of the things that sets a luxury van conversion apart from a basic camper is the kitchen. The Oasis 2.0’s galley is designed to feel like a real kitchen, not a compromise.

- CNC-cut maple plywood cabinetry — precision-made on our in-house CNC router for a perfect fit
- Two sinks — dedicated prep and cleanup areas
We use our own CNC router to design and cut every cabinet panel, wall panel, and ceiling panel in-house. That means millimeter-perfect fitment and a level of craftsmanship you won’t find in a mass-produced RV. Every piece of cabinetry in the Oasis 2.0 is cut from high-quality maple plywood and finished by our woodworking team.
Sleeping: The Motorized Elevator Bed
The Oasis 2.0 features a motorized elevator bed — one of the coolest features in any van conversion. At the push of a button, the bed raises to the ceiling, revealing an L-shaped lounge area underneath. Lower it back down and you have a full, comfortable sleeping surface for two to three people.
This dual-purpose design is what makes the Sprinter 170 layout work so well. During the day, you have a spacious living area with plenty of seating. At night, the bed drops down and you’re sleeping on a real mattress — not a converted dinette or a cramped bunk.

Water System: Full Plumbing for Extended Travel
The water system in the Oasis 2.0 is built for people who actually live in their vans — not just weekend warriors.

Having a full indoor shower is a game-changer for van life. Combined with the Bosch hot water heater and 32 gallons of fresh water, you can take real showers, wash dishes properly, and maintain the kind of hygiene that makes long-term van living sustainable and comfortable.
Climate Control: Comfortable in Any Season
Florida summers are brutal, and we build our vans to handle them. The Oasis 2.0’s climate system keeps you comfortable whether it’s 95°F in July or 35°F on a mountain camping trip.
- Velit 12V air conditioning — runs directly off the battery bank with no generator needed
- Espar diesel heater — efficient, quiet heating that taps into the van’s fuel tank
- 2x MaxxAir ventilation fans — powerful airflow for mild weather and cooking ventilation
- 3M Thinsulate insulation — walls and ceiling fully insulated for thermal and sound dampening
- Upholstered wall and ceiling panels — premium finish that adds insulation and aesthetics
The combination of a 12V AC unit and 600Ah of battery capacity means you can run the air conditioning all night without worrying about draining your batteries. The Build Quality Difference

The result is furniture-grade quality in a vehicle that’s going to bounce down dirt roads.
We use marine-grade hardware, professional-grade wiring with proper circuit protection, and plumbing that’s built to handle vibration and temperature swings. After five years and dozens of full builds, we know exactly where things fail in a van — and we engineer around those failure points.
